Josefina Senese is a doctoral candidate in Educational Policy Studies at Boston University and a 2026–2027 AERA–NSF Dissertation Fellow.
Her research examines how school practices shape the educational trajectories of students with disabilities and multilingual learners. Using quasi-experimental methods and longitudinal administrative data, she studies the extent to which these students learn in inclusive settings, access educational services, and achieve academically.
Before joining Boston University, Josefina worked in Washington, D.C., at the Inter-American Foundation and the Organization of American States. She holds an MA from the University of Notre Dame and a BA from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
