Barbara Biasi is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Yale University School of Management. She is a labor economist doing work on education, inequality, and creativity. Her current work includes various topics related to teachers’ labor markets, the effects of changes in school spending, and the links between education and innovation.
Barbara holds a PhD from Stanford University. In addition to her work at Yale, she serves as a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a Research Affiliate with the Centre for Economic Policy and Research (CEPR) and the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), and an Affiliate at the Center of Economic Studies (CESifo) in Munich. Barbara’s work has earned her an European Research Council Starting Grant, a Distinguished Affiliate Award from CESifo, and an Early Career Award from the Upjohn Institute.
